Rat Snakes

Rat snakes belongs to the Ptyas genera. They are fast terrestrial snakes whcih are active during the day. The common Rat snake is the most common snake across the country. They are one of the best rodent controllers and often found near human settlements and in farm lands. They survive on rodents, birds, frogs and lizards. They are egg laying snakes.
